Xic Glam, a premium cosmetics brand, sought to launch a network of affiliated female entrepreneurs. What was the challenge? To train and motivate women with no prior sales experience, ensuring a consistent representation of the brand.
The solution needed to go beyond just delivering information: it required building trust, product knowledge, digital marketing skills, and, above all, keeping users engaged. All of this in a mobile app that is accessible, clear, and aligned with the identity of an aspirational brand.
As the sole UX UI Designer of the project, I led the end-to-end design of "Xic Academy" from research to post-launch follow-up. I organized interviews, focus groups, and surveys to understand our users.
I co-created the gamification strategy with the client. I designed architecture, flows, wireframes, prototypes, and UI, validated with 2 rounds of testing, and collaborated closely with development in QA and delivery. My focus was always on balancing clarity, motivation, and educational effectiveness.
I designed a native mobile app focused on microlearning, with modules for product, sales, and digital marketing. The experience was enhanced with meaningful gamification: points, badges, levels, and a "showcase of achievements" that highlights progress.
Users started with a guided "Getting Started Path" and had resources ready to use on social media. The entire design was visually elegant and aligned with the Xic Glam brand, intended to motivate from the first contact.
In its first weeks, the MVP achieved a 75% activation rate and 410 active weekly users. The experience obtained a SUS of 83.5 and an NPS of 50, validating its usability and perceived value.
The gamification system was highly understood and motivating (4.3/5 in appeal), while the "Startup Path" had a completion rate of 85%. The app not only trained but also empowered a new network of entrepreneurs to confidently represent a premium brand.
